Gum Surgery

gums

Gum Disease is manifested as swelling, pain or soreness in the gums.
Periodontitis is an infection of the gums that can cause the teeth to become loose and even cause bone loss
There are many treatments available for gum disease, and these treatments depend on the stage of disease, how you may have responded to earlier treatments, and your overall health.
Treatments range from nonsurgical procedures that control bacterial growth, to surgery to restore supportive tissues.
Surgery(Flap surgery/pocket reduction surgery,Soft tissue grafts, Bone grafts) is needed when the tissue around the teeth is unhealthy and cannot be repaired with nonsurgical (Scaling and root planing) options.
